Open Doors Day for deafblind people in the CAB | 14-11-2014

More than twenty deafblind people visited the Astrobiology Center (CAB, CSIC-INTA) during the Open Door Day within Science Week.

Since 2011, one of the main activities of the CAB, in its vocation to reach all the public, programmed within the Science Week, is the Open Doors Day dedicated to deafblind people. Unlike the other Conferences of this kind held by the CAB, which this year took place on Friday, November 7 and 14, this activity aims to reach a special audience. In addition, in this way, assistance is also given in the training of the monitors that help in the visit, this time of ASOCIDE .

In this Conference, which took place on November 14, the CAB visited more than 20 deafblind people accompanied by many other support monitors who received the explanations of the center's scientists and made a didactic tour for its laboratories.
