Calvià, second stop of "Searching for LIFE in the Universe" by the Balearic Islands on 04-21-2015

On the 20th and 21st the Astrobiology workshops have filled the spaces of the IES Son Ferrer in Calvià.

The IES Son Ferrer de Calvià has been converging for two days on an improvised school of Astrobiology thanks to the educational workshops of the program "Buscando VIDA en el Universo". In one-hour sessions, scientists from the Center for Astrobiology (CAB, CSIC-INTA) have shown how to work in this multidisciplinary science to understand what life is, how it originated on Earth and how to search it out.

This educational project has been developed by the Scientific Culture Unit of the CAB and participates in the Science City program organized by the CSIC and sponsored by the La Caixa Foundation.
